Founders’ Story
Apoorva and Sachin arrived at wellness from very different paths, but both landed on the same truth: our bodies know how to heal, when given the chance.
For Sachin, it was a deeply personal health journey. At 40, after years of unresolved issues, he turned to Yoga out of desperation. What began reluctantly soon became life-changing. Over the next 12 years, Ayurveda and Yoga became central to his wellbeing.
Apoorva grew up with rituals, but not reasons. In her traditional home, Ayurveda was present but unexplained. It wasn’t until she explored it on her own that it all clicked. What once felt like routine started to feel like rhythm. Backed by her research and lived experience, she translated old practices into tools that made sense today.
Together, they built Amma to make this care accessible. Real wisdom, applied practically. Structured care that feels personal. And a voice of guidance that’s warm, not prescriptive.
Our Philosophy
At Amma, we believe care should never be reactive; it should be lived, daily, in ways that feel natural and repeatable. Healing doesn’t have to wait for a breakdown. Rituals work best when they’re woven into everyday life. And wisdom means little if it isn’t accessible.
Ayurveda, Yoga, and our classical music hold profound truths, but most of us were never taught how to live them. Amma bridges that gap with structure, science, and support, bringing you care that’s stood the test of time.
