Return and Refund Policy

1. Quality checks
All Amma products undergo a mandatory quality-control inspection to ensure they meet our high safety and international quality standards.
2. Eligibility for returns
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.
- Returns must be initiated within 4 days of receiving the product.
- Perishable / food products cannot be returned once the pack has been opened or used.
- Before we approve a return, we will ask you to provide a photo of the product so we can confirm it has not been opened or used.
Please ensure the original outer shipping packaging is present and that the item is securely packed for return. If the original outer shipping packaging is missing, we will not be able to arrange a return pickup.
3. Items not eligible for return
Perishable goods, opened or used food items, and any items clearly marked as non-returnable cannot be accepted for return.
4. How to return an item
You may either:
- Arrange and send the return to our warehouse yourself, or
- Contact us so we can advise on available pickup options (subject to original outer shipping packaging being available).
To complete a return, please include your receipt or other proof of purchase and your order number.

6. Return shipping costs
You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is approved, we will deduct the original forward shipping and any return shipping costs from your refund.
If the value of the item you are returning is over ₹10,000, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance — we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked returns.
Delivery times for exchanges/replacements vary depending on your location.
7. Inspection & processing of refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email (to the address used for the order) to confirm receipt and whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed and credited back to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear on your account may vary by payment provider.
8. Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund:
- Check your bank account or card statement.
- Contact your credit card company or bank — processing times may vary.
- If you still have not received your refund after these steps, contact us at info@ammaliving.in with your order number and details.
9. Sale items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Items purchased on sale or marked as final sale cannot be refunded.
10. Cancellation policy
If you change your mind, cancellations will be accepted if the request is made within 48 hours of placing the order and provided the order has not yet been processed or shipped. To cancel, email your order number to info@ammaliving.in as soon as possible. If the order has already been dispatched, please follow the return procedure above once you receive the item.
